I was never among the top five, or even the top ten, and I never expected to win. When I won, I was completely shocked.
How did your family react?
It was quite a funny story. I've been living with my dad since I was thirteen. When he called me, I was already on my way to sign the Miss Russia contract, right after the show. But she didn’t tell him anything - she decided to let him watch the broadcast. And we had the following dialogue: “Well, how are you, Sonchik?” - “Well, everything is fine.” - “Aren’t you very upset?” - "Not really". - “Was everything normal?” - “Listen, dad, watch the show tomorrow, you’ll like it, in principle, everything went well, I didn’t fall on stage.” But there was no surprise. I wouldn’t say that everything that comes to me comes for nothing. I have my own little secrets of success: at night, when I go to bed, I remember the whole day and analyze what I liked, what I didn’t like, what needs to be changed. And all situations that cause me a feeling of aggression, anger, I model the way I would like to see them. This is very useful, the next day everything will be the way I wanted.
