Peony is a symbol of love and wealth

It is known that flowers have their own energy and influence a person, his mood, emotions and even actions. This influence may or may not be beneficial. It depends on many factors: whether the flowers are fresh or fading, with rounded leaves or thorns, whether you like them or for some reason you dislike them. Therefore, it is very important to choose and correctly activate flowers in order to bring favorable energy into the environment, adjusting and improving the atmosphere around you and your loved ones.

We have already written earlier in an article about the six main rules of plants in the house, which Feng Shui considers to be the strongest activators of good luck and the most favorable flowers such as: peony, chrysanthemum, lotus, magnolia, orchid, sunflower, and also some others. In this article we will dwell in more detail on the properties of peonies and recommendations for attracting good luck with their help.

It is important to know! Peony is the carrier of pure Yang energy. There are hundreds of colors peony, but in China only red color carries the symbolism of love, honor and wealth. Therefore, when we talk about peonies, we will mean red flowers or at least flowers close to it. Remember, the richer the color, the more favorable energy the peony carries.

If the chrysanthemum in Feng Shui symbolizes happiness, then it is the red “imperial” peony that symbolizes Love. You can talk endlessly about this luxurious flower, get drunk from its amazing smell and admire this lush flower of all possible shades. Perhaps this is why female beauty is compared to the beauty of this flower. Thus, according to legend, the famous concubine of the Chinese emperor Yang Guifei always kept fresh peonies in her bedroom, and the emperor fulfilled his beloved’s every whim and was always only with her.

Peonies for spouses.

The opinion that Is it possible to put peonies or their image in the bedroom, Feng Shui Masters are divided. Some believe that the red peony in the love and marriage sector of the bedroom can bring activity into married life if there is a feeling of cooling or lack of passion. Others believe that placing a peony in the bedroom can encourage a more active spouse to seek pleasure outside. In the couple's bedroom peony brings newness to relationships, to be more precise, precisely in sexual terms. Think about it, is it worth the risk?

Peonies for unmarried girls.

According to Feng Shui, peony is a flower that has magical powers. If there is an unmarried girl in the house, it is believed that if you put peonies or their image in the living room, they will attract your soulmate to her, and she will soon get married. At the same time, as soon as the marriage takes place, the image and the flowers themselves must be removed from the house where she lived with her parents so as not to cause trouble. If you want to get married, but you don’t have a living room where you can put peonies or hang a picture, then place these flowers at the entrance to your bedroom, so they will attract a lot of favorable Qi to you and help you achieve your plans.

You can also draw or embroider peonies yourself, but you don’t have to hang the finished work on the wall. Any item made with your own hands has the greatest power in fulfilling what you want, because during the manufacturing process it absorbs your energy and positive thoughts about what you want.

Peonies for career and business.

Since ancient times, the peony has been considered a “royal” flower, the flower of rulers and emperors. It is not just a symbol of exclusivity and aristocracy, masculinity and grace, but is also a flower that personifies upward movements in the field of achievement.

Peony is appropriate if you want to make a breakthrough in business, move up the career or social ladder. Place a bouquet of these luxurious, fragrant flowers in your living room or office and you will receive a huge charge of positive energy and good luck to boot! If you don’t want flowers, you can get by with a painting. In winter, to maintain the yang energy of success, you can hang an image of peonies with soft colors on the north wall.

Peonies in the garden.

If you have a garden or personal plot, and you like to work with it, then to gain success and prosperity, you can plant a peony bush. It is better to do this in the southwestern part. This, among other things, helps solve all sorts of problems that may arise in relationships with others. During the flowering period, the peony becomes a symbol of great wealth, the flowering bush personifies royal prosperity, and the peony root, dug up during the flowering period, has healing properties - it treats impotence in men and regulates the menstrual cycle in women.

Peony petals do not wither for about three weeks, which is why in China it is called the “flower of twenty days.” It is also believed that a peony bush can live much longer than a person. Therefore, when planting a bush of this flower, you can be sure that with proper care, it will delight you with its incredibly beautiful flowers with a magical magical aroma for many years.

Important! If for some reason you don’t like peonies, under no circumstances buy them, don’t put them on the table, don’t hang pictures with their images on the wall, and don’t plant them in your garden just because they bring good luck. The energy given off by peonies will not be favorable for you, and changes in life will be positive if you yourself feel negative about these flowers! Love these flowers, and they will love you and attract success to you!

According to Feng Shui, luxurious peonies symbolize romantic feelings, passionate love and vibrant relationships. Fans of ancient Chinese teachings believe that the image of peonies promotes the beginning of new love relationships and helps to arouse mutual passion.

Flowers of bright red color have the greatest power to attract love. They are a powerful activator of energy flows in the apartment space. Peonies of less saturated color - pink and white, can also attract romantic feelings, but their strength is slightly less.

Peonies of purple and blue colors give peace and protection. Light yellow and cream peonies will bring stability to your relationship. White peonies promote trust and kindness.

Since peony is an imperial flower, it can play a positive role in your career too. Place a picture of a peony on your computer desktop and the energy of the flower will bring good luck and help you achieve a higher position.

How to use peonies to find love

Images of peonies placed in the marital bedroom will bring a wave of passion and romance into the lives of the spouses. This talisman will give you liberation, free you from complexes and natural shyness. Thanks to the action of peonies, spouses will begin to treat each other with great trepidation and love.

However, we should not forget about the “side effect” of the influence of this talisman. Peony, causing in spouses a desire to feel new emotions and piquant sensations, can push them to cheat. Therefore, do not leave peonies in the bedroom for a long time - a few days are enough.

Feng Shui recommends that single girls place an image of peonies in the southwestern part of their bedroom or living room - this sector is responsible for love and a happy marriage. The love talisman will actively attract female fans to the house and reward future brides with wit, attractiveness and charm. However, when the groom appears, the girl should remove the image of flowers so as not to scare off her happiness.

If you live in a private house, a flower bed with peonies, which should be placed in the southwestern part of the site, will help you attract love. It is also advisable to remove from this sector everything that interferes with the circulation of love energy. According to Feng Shui, such obstacles include all objects related to water - decorative ponds, fountains, aquariums.

In Chinese philosophy, every flower has its own purpose. According to Feng Shui, peonies are considered carriers of pure energy and are endowed with the ability to attract love and happiness, help with marriage and in the material sphere.

Flower meaning

In the Chinese teachings of Feng Shui, different meanings are attributed to flowers:

  • for men, it carries the power of attracting wealth and power, helps to make a career and assists in achieving their goals,
  • for women, its magical power is associated with love and attracting a future spouse to the house; flowers help to quickly find your soulmate and get married; with the help of these lush buds, ladies kindle the passion of their chosen one and add novelty to a cooled marital relationship.

A lush flower, associated with selfless feelings, attracts positive energy, helping in love and business relationships.

Color meaning

A flower in nature has many colors, and each of them has its own purpose.

Reds. The most common red color of peony is a symbol of sexuality and love passion. If there are red flowers in the house, it means that the owner intends to awaken a strong attraction in the man invited to the house.

White flowers mean calm and tranquility. Most often, they are intended to create a favorable environment in the family and relieve tense relationships. Their task is to stop family disagreements, quarrels and troubles.

Pink peonies carry the ability to renew family relationships and save a marriage from possible disintegration.

Purple flowers in China symbolize protection. They cleanse negative energy and protect against negative influence from the outside.

Yellows are able to bring harmony and stability to the home, get rid of lies and show the true situation.

Number of colors

In China, the number of peonies in a bouquet or in a painting also carries a certain meaning:

  • When there is only one lush bud in a painting or in a vase, this is interpreted as a woman’s desire to be attractive to the opposite sex.
  • When a man presents a bouquet of three red or pink flowers or gives a picture with three peonies, this indicates his intention to be only with you.
  • Yellow flowers are a symbol of health, and the quantity does not matter.
  • A bouquet of five flowers will bring good luck and good changes, and the bouquet is also a symbol of declaration of love.
  • A bouquet of seven pieces is presented for an engagement or a wedding. A painting depicting seven bright flowers would also be a good gift.
  • You can express respect and gratitude using 9, 11 and 15 colors.

Peonies in the interior

For peonies you need to choose a suitable place. You need to know where to hang a picture of flowers or place a vase. It does not matter whether it is a living flower or an artificial one. According to the teachings of Feng Shui, the effectiveness of a flower is the same in any case.

In the house

These flowers fit quite harmoniously into the home interior.

A picture or live peonies with a red color means that a girl of marriageable age lives in this house, for whom the parents want to find a husband in the near future.

The bright and lush flowers present in the bride’s bouquet speak of the chastity and cheerfulness of the future wife.

An important Feng Shui rule: as soon as the goal of getting married is achieved, it is recommended to immediately remove peonies from the home interior.

According to Feng Shui, peonies in the bedroom kindle the feelings of lovers and evoke desire for each other.

If you ask a Chinese which flower is the king of the plant kingdom, he will, without a doubt, immediately point to peony- symbol of the Celestial Empire, imperial flower, the personification of wealth and refined luxury.

It is believed that cultural peony growing in China dates back more than one and a half thousand years. During this time, many varieties were developed, differing in shape and color (already in the 16th century there were more than 30 of them!). Huge peony gardens were located around the imperial palace and mansions of the nobility, and their roots were valued almost as much as gold, and practical Chinese not only admired the luxurious flowers, but also used peony in medicine and cooking as a spice.

Feng Shui masters paid great attention to the peony, who believed that this flower attracts good luck and love, and also symbolizes all the good things in a person’s life - love, wealth and respect from others.

To preserve in memory for a long time the short-lived charm of blooming flowers, their images embroidered with silk , and the sophistication of these works makes us admire the art of unknown craftswomen hundreds of years later. Peonies were depicted by artists and sung by poets. The peony flower has become as much a symbol of China as chrysanthemum - Japan .

There is a Chinese legend about a passionate peony lover, a certain Ho-Chi, who grew an amazing peony garden. Everything was wonderful until one day the mandarin’s son Chang-Ei, who was not quite healthy in his head, appeared, who, seeing the flowers, suddenly began to knock them down and trample them.

At first, old man Ho-Chi cried, begging him to stop the outrage, but then he couldn’t stand it and beat the bully with a stick. The scoundrel ran away, but the garden was already hopelessly damaged. Ho-Chi fell into despair, but then a lovely girl appeared, who turned out to be a sorceress, who revived his flowers, which became even more beautiful.

Unfortunately, the evil Chang-Ei did not calm down and accused the old man of witchcraft. The poor guy was captured and sentenced to death. And while the unfortunate man was suffering in prison, the high-ranking paranoid, getting drunk with his friends, went back to the garden to finish his dirty deed.

But as soon as the warm company appeared in the garden, suddenly all the peonies turned into lovely young girls who waved the wide sleeves of their dresses so much that a terrible hurricane broke out. Chang-Ei's drinking buddies were scattered in all directions, and the peony-hater himself, thrown to an enormous height, fell into a ditch with manure and immediately gave up the ghost.

Having learned about what had happened, the chief judge was frightened and immediately released Ho-Chi, who returned to his former life, blessing the memory of the wonderful goddess who resurrected his pets. And then one day, suddenly a warm wind blew, a fragrance spread throughout the entire garden, and marvelous, hitherto unheard divine sounds were heard... Raising his eyes, Ho-Chi saw his goddess descending to him on a pink cloud, accompanied by white storks and azure phoenix color.

Presenting herself before Ho-Chi, she announced that for his merits he would be taken alive to heaven along with the hut and garden. Since then, the village where Ho-Chi lived began to be called “the village of the righteous man who ascended alive into heaven,” and the place where his garden was known as the garden of “a hundred flowers.”

Of course, the Japanese aristocracy, who admired Chinese culture, could not pass by the marvelous flower, and when the peony, together with the Buddhist monks, crossed the sea, it received the warmest welcome in Japan. Its popularity is evidenced by images on vases, plates and paintings. Poets dedicated lines filled with admiration to him, comparing him either with frantic passion or with chaste love. (The most surprising thing is that if in China and Japan the peony was considered a symbol of love and modesty, then in India , on Ceylon and in some other countries it is a symbol of clumsiness and swagger!)

The ancient Greeks and Romans admired peony flowers, knowing about their medicinal properties. It is assumed that the peony received its name in honor of the student of Aesculapius (Asclepius) Paean, who surpassed his teacher in the art of healing. The offended god, following the bad habit inherent in the Olympians, immediately decided to poison his successful competitor, but Pluto managed to turn the poor fellow into a beautiful flower. But the European history of peony is not a story for our site...

N.B.! In order for peony flowers to last a long time in a vase, they must be cut early in the morning in dry weather, when the outer petals bend back. Immediately place the flowers in water and send them to a cool place (cellar) for a couple of hours. When transporting, put paper (gauze) caps on them. Before placing in a vase, refresh the cuts on the stems under water, and also scratch the ends of the stems or hold them for 10-15 minutes in water with a small amount of alcohol. Water should be poured into the vase up to the leaves.

The importance of peonies for the Chinese people has long acquired a significant place. After all, this beautiful flower, used in the teachings of Feng Shui, is capable of working miracles. Because of their beauty, they are called imperial flowers. The beauty, aroma and durability of these plants have won many hearts.

A delicate petal brings happiness to your home!

Feng Shui peonies are used for specific purposes. Thanks to these gifts of nature, you can attract into your home and life the benefits that a person dreams of. What could be more important than love, happiness and prosperity? A person strives to create a large and friendly family, wants to find a person to live with. Therefore, its use for these purposes is very effective!

With their help, lonely hearts will attract love into their lives. And those who lack passion or tenderness in relationships will get what they want. The correct placement of peonies will help attract stability and prosperity to the home. But, it is important to remember and know that you should not abuse their help. After all, you can summon too much energy, which from excess turns from a calm flow into a stormy stream.

The color of peonies matters

Having become interested in the “help” from such lovely creatures, a person wants to experience their “work” for himself. Living plants attract large amounts of energy. But, in addition to them, you can take into account paintings and bouquets. The image works no worse than a living plant. The main condition is to select a painting or photograph so that it matches your desires.

What does it mean to coincide with desires? Namely, that the difference is in color. The color of the plant determines what is missing in life. Therefore, this issue must be approached carefully. So, which color is responsible for what:

  • White color will help bring into life the energy of calm and stability. If a person lacks positivity and energy, then this is exactly what he needs. Also, it will help to “cool down” scandals in the house.
  • The color pink will help bring a touch of romance to your relationship with your loved one. This method especially helps couples who are experiencing a crisis in their relationship. In addition, tenderness and affection are attracted to life; they envelop a person.
  • The color yellow helps people who want to achieve emotional stability, stability, and justice. His energy brings calm and confidence to life.
  • Lilac color is a protector of the human energy field. It brings calm and a sense of security into your living space. In life and business, he will be a good assistant.
  • Red color is strong and stormy. With its help, couples whose passions have cooled can catch up. Sexual and emotional connection begins to simmer when there is a red peony in the bedroom.

Each of them carries special energy and brings certain moments and feelings into human life. If financial assistance is needed for the business to take off, then they are also contacted. Paintings, photographs and bouquets with their images will be an excellent “bait” for positive energy. A set of peonies of different colors is considered a good “beacon” for her.

Location and purpose

Feng Shui peonies will work for the benefit of a person. Having determined what is missing in life, you need to correctly place the “beacons”. For them to work, you first need to clear the room. Everything unnecessary is removed so that energy flows can “float” and not stumble. When everything is ready, you can immediately begin working to improve your life.

To attract love, a “lonely heart” should place a red flower in the love zone. It’s very good if you have the opportunity to plant it. If this is not possible, then you can use a picture or a bouquet. When the goal is achieved, you need to stop “attracting”. Otherwise, unpleasant things can happen, for example, betrayal. This happens from an excess of passionate energy.

A person seeking to attract wealth, peace and success into his life must do the following. Having determined the zone that meets his “requests,” he places flowers in it. The meaning of peonies has a certain character, which is chosen by the doer. These flowers will delight you with their appearance, pamper you with their aroma and protect you from misfortunes.
