Let's take, for example, one of the folk signs - two crowns on the head. No one ever conducts research to confirm the folk signs of this unusual phenomenon, but there are a lot of theories, it’s interesting how substantiated and truthful they are.
A little history
In ancient times, people were always very wary of everything that went beyond the usual, including a person’s appearance; by the way, this fact remains unchanged at the present time. At the same time, any distinctive feature, in the absence of developed science, was interpreted in only two directions - for good or for bad. Since the presence of two tops did not pose any threat to a person’s life or to the lives of people around him, the omen became positive.
It was believed that the owner of two crowns would be unusually happy and successful in life. To what extent this fact was subsequently confirmed is not known, but it is possible to assume that the special position, as well as the expectation of happiness, introduced a positive charge into the life of the culprit of the omen, which, in fact, pushed him to great achievements, and, accordingly, to greater results.
There was also a version, which many still believe, that two crowns mean two marriages. This fact seems incredible, given the ban on divorce at that time. But, again, it can be assumed that perhaps in this way the owner was made to know that he would always have a loving wife with him even in the event of the death of the previous half.
How do contemporaries explain the sign?
Considering people’s love for everything unusual, contemporaries invented their own versions in order to explain what having two crowns gives the owner, because previous interpretations have become irrelevant in modern life. Many years of observations by wise people have confirmed that an extra crown does not bring happiness and good luck, and therefore this is not true. It was also possible to refute the second version of a second marriage, because modern people, even with one crown, marry more than twice.
As a result, a new version was put forward. The so-called children or “indigo” people, who have greater capabilities than an ordinary person, have two crowns. The basis for this assumption was the study of scientists about the formation of protrusions on the human skull, to which the tops of the head were equated. It is believed that each protrusion, or in this case the top of the head, depending on its location, means greater development of a certain part of the brain and, accordingly, gives a person greater capabilities. This led to the version that since the tops of the heads are located symmetrically on both sides of the skull, it means that both hemispheres of the brain are more developed.
