Runes are graphic signs that tend to influence physical Reality.
Germanic, Scandinavian, Turkic, Slavic runes are known. All these signs are characterized by an angular letter. They have their own sound and some have written monuments. " There are examples of the creation of alphabets in literature: Tolkien created two alphabets: Tengwar of 24 main characters and 12 additional and Angertas- of 60 runic-shaped characters, but none of them correspond to historically established runes"(V.P. Goch).
However, one of the most famous systems of runic signs is the Elder Futhark - the oldest fully formed alphabet, which dates back to the beginning of the fifth century. The word “futhark” is made up of the first letters of the names of six runes - Fehu, Uruz, Turisaz, Ansuz, Raido, Kenaz - and means “alphabet”. In total there are 24 runes, which are divided into 3 attas (kinds), including 8 characters. Groups of runes reflect processes in three parts of the Universe. The runes of the Elder Futhark had a purely mystical meaning and were never used for everyday purposes .
At the end of the 20th century, scientist and researcher Vasily Pavlovich Goch created New Runes. The new runic signs were based on the most famous rune system. The new Runic system was created by V.P. Gochem based on a topological study of the runes of the Elder Futhark and based on it. “Through subtle sensory perception we watched in matrix form, a reflection in the Tao of the work of the power of each rune in organizing the space surrounding it.Analysis of the polarization of the physical vacuum and its distorted geometry, produced by the hand, showed the necessary work to form the desired matrix image, after which the corresponding graphic image of the rune and its new sound were found using the approximation method» (V.P. As a result, as already mentioned, the appearance of the signs changed. Their proportions correspond to the “golden ratio” rule – 5/8. The number of axes of symmetry of the runes has increased, which makes them alive and testifies to their perfection.

The names of the runes, keywords, and descriptions have changed. A figure appeared that in matrix form gives “display in the Tao of the work of the power of each rune”(V.P. Goch).
The New Runic System is based on 24 signs in a straight and “inverted” position. Straight and inverted runes form 36 runic signs. And there is one “empty” rune that has its own meaning.
The runes of the Elder Futhark may have common features with the new runes - similarity in form, name. Let's give an example. There is a sign from the old alphabet - the Vunyo rune - the key word is “Victory”.
In the New Runic System there is a rune - Vinyo.
